Q: What is the difference between the Floating Pearls Packs and the Pearls Packs that don't have the word Floating in the title?
A: The Floating Pearls contain the Transparent Gels which are needed to make the Pearls float. The standard Packs are just the Pearls themselves.
Q: What is the difference between pearls with holes and pearls without hole? Which one's float?
A: No Hole looks smoother unlike an ordinary bead. The pearls with holes and without holes both float.
Q: How far in advance can I prepare the Floating Pearls in the vases?
A: You can prepare them several days in advance if you keep them well covered.
Q: How long do the Pearls float and are they reusable?
A: They float for several months and are reusable. (Hydrated Gels need to be stored in water and covered, pearls can be dried off & put in bags)
Q: Are the Floating Pearls hard to prepare?
A: They are extremely easy to prepare. Instructions are included with your order. We are always here to answer any questions. We recommend practicing on a vase beforehand and you can always reuse/save the pearls and water gels.
Q: How come my Pearls aren't floating?
A: Pearls do not float in water. You need the Transparent Gels to float them. If you already have them and prepared them according to the instructions that are included with your order, then most probably you have added more than 1/2" of water over the last layer of the Transparent Gels in your vase.
Q: How to hydrate the Transparent Gels?
A: A measured Prep & Storage Bags plus instruction sheet, will be included with your order of the Floating option. Also please see our Video Tutorial at the menu above.
Q: How come my Transparent Gels are not Transparent or foggy?
A: You either didn't fully hydrate the Transparent Gels or didn't add enough water to the Transparent Gels in your vase. If Foggy please rinse them and change the water.
Q: Can I transfer the vases after I prepare them?
A: Yes, just do not add any water and seal the vases well with saran wrap.
Q: Are the Transparent Gels hard to remove from the vases or store?
A: Not at all! It is like removing water. They must be stored in clean water for reuse. Do not keep the hydrated Transparent Gels out of water for more than 4 hours or so, or they will go bad. DO NOT DEHYDRATE THEM.
Q: Do the Transparent Gels solidify or dissolve and are they permanent?
A: The Transparent Gels do not solidify nor dissolve. They expand and hold a lot of the water while hydrating. They will last for several years if stored well.
Q: What colors Pearls do you have?
A: We have in stock most of the colors in the World in the Pearls, Gems. We also carry Floating: Stars, Seashells, Confetti, Baby Shower, Christmas, Winter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Valentine, Easter, Summer, Beach, Gifts, and more... For any colors you cannot find, please chat or email us.
Q: How much Pearls and Transparent Gels do I need for my vases?
A: Each Transparent Gel Packet makes 8 measuring cups of the hydrated Transparent Gels. If your vases hold about 8 measuring cups of water, you will need 1 Packet per vase. Typically, 1 Pearls Pack of 40 Pearls per 1 to 2 Transparent Gels Packets, depending on your budget and the look you would like to achieve.
Q: What do I need to get this look?
A: You will need the Pearls, Transparent Gels, Floating Candle, and at least one vase. We sell everything that goes in the vases. We also have many types of Submersible Led T. Lights.
Q: Can I use Submersible Tea Lights with the Transparent Gels inside the vase?
A: Yes. The Transparent Gels will not show!
Q: How do I dispose of the Gels?
A: If you have no use for the Transparent Gels, you can dispose of them in the trash or outside in the yard (good source of water for plants).
